WITHDRAWAL

 

(1) Right of withdrawal

The customer has the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period is fourteen days from the day on which the customer, or a third party designated by the customer (other than the carrier), took possession of the goods. To exercise the right of withdrawal, the customer must inform us (OAK Berlin GmbH, Pasteurstr. 4, 10407 Berlin, ) of their decision to withdraw from this contract by means of a clear statement (e.g. a letter sent by post, by email or using the online form above). The customer may use the withdrawal form for this purpose – although this is not mandatory – or the online form. To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for the customer to send the notification of their decision to exercise the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period expires.

(2) Consequences of withdrawal

If the customer withdraws from this contract, we shall refund to them all payments we have received from them, including delivery costs (with the exception of any additional costs arising from their choice of a delivery method other than the cheapest standard delivery offered by us), without undue delay and at the latest within fourteen days of the day on which we receive notification of their withdrawal from this contract. We shall use the same means of payment for this refund as the customer used for the original transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise with them; in no event shall they be charged any fees in connection with this refund. We may withhold the refund until we have received the goods back or the customer has provided evidence that they have returned the goods, whichever is the earlier. The customer must return the goods to OAK Berlin GmbH, Pasteurstr. 4, 10407 Berlin, without delay and in any event no later than fourteen days from the date on which they notify us of the withdrawal from this contract. The deadline is deemed to have been met if the customer dispatches the goods before the expiry of the fourteen-day period. The customer shall bear the direct costs of returning the goods. The customer shall only be liable for any loss in value of the goods if such loss is attributable to handling of the goods that goes beyond what is necessary to ascertain their nature, characteristics and functioning.
